About this job

• Assist with general labour tasks on various sites • Cut, sort, and stack firewood according to specifications • Load and unload materials and equipment • Maintain a clean and organized worksite • Operate basic hand and power tools • Assist skilled tradespeople as needed • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE • Perform manual labor, such as digging trenches, clearing debris, or moving construction materials • Operate hand tools and small machinery. Maintain cleanliness of the worksite by disposing of waste materials properly • Assist in earth-moving tasks, including excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation, while adhering to environmental regulations and minimizing impact on the natural landscape. • Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with environmental standards • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

Chainsaw handling – not required but desirable

Days of work
Monday – Friday 40hrs a week (time to be determine) depending on job but likely 7.30 or 8 – 3.30 or 4 (30 hours per week)
