Community Foodbank Warehouse Lead The Warehouse Lead oversees daily operations of the food bank, managing food intake, storage, and distribution to support families facing food insecurity. This role requires strong leadership, organisation, and commitment to community service, especially in working with rescued food. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. • Operate Forkhoists, manage pallet racking, and ensure refrigeration of perishable items. • Lead food procurement efforts and manage purchase orders. • Repurpose rescued food and minimise waste. • Lead and develop staff/volunteers, promoting teamwork. • Manage inventory, logistics, and food distribution. • Engage with community partners to address food insecurity. • Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with regulations. Qualifications: • 5+ years in leadership/management. • Report writing and computer proficiency. • Experience in food safety, warehouse, and team management. • Forkhoist, pallet racking, and refrigeration experience. • Strong organisational, communication, and conflict resolution skills. • Passion for social justice and working with Pasifika teams. Additional: • Flexible hours, valid driver’s licence, and ability to lift heavy item.

Car license 1 Full Forkhoist Must pass a MoJ check. Must pass a Drug and Alcohol random and regular test. Must be punctual Physically fit
