We have an exciting opportunity available in the Wellington region for a full-time Community Support Worker. This role is focused on housing and connecting individuals/families with the community, support services, and Housing Providers.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting our clients by:

- Referring whanau to the appropriate source of assistance. - Providing information, referrals, linkages, and advocacy to assist whanau in accessing services and resources. - Identify appropriate permanent housing options for Whanau and other opportunities.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role you need the following:

- Communicate effectively. - Work well under pressure. - Are planned and organised with a high attention to detail. - Will build and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of people. - Have knowledge/awareness of different cultures and community. - Have a Full NZ Drivers License. - MUST HAVE AN UPDATED CV AND COVER LETTER TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE.
