Motel Room Attendant

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Motel Cleaner in Haast. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of a motel and backpacker accommodations. You will also assist with some laundry duties and basic gardening tasks to ensure the property remains welcoming and comfortable for all guests.

Key Responsibilities: Cleaning of Motel Units:

Thoroughly clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness. Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors. Changing bed linens, making beds, and replenishing towels and amenities. Cleaning of Backpacker Facilities:

Maintain cleanliness in dorm rooms, shared bathrooms, and common spaces. Regularly check and clean communal areas like kitchens and lounges. Laundry Duties:

Wash, dry, fold, and store linens and towels. Monitor and maintain laundry supplies and equipment. Gardening Work:

Light outdoor maintenance, such as weeding, watering plants, and maintaining outdoor areas.

Experience in cleaning or housekeeping (preferred but not essential). Attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable and punctual. Basic knowledge of laundry procedures. Willingness to assist with light gardening and outdoor work.
