Community not for profit hub in Massey have an excellent part time opportunity for a Community Hub Assistant.
Working 20 hours per week the main responsibilities include: Meeting and greeting visitors to the hub and residents Engage with people in ways that meet their needs add value to their lives and to make them feel welcome and engaged. Manage bookings, enquiries regarding community activities, answer phones and carry out general administration duties.
You will need to be able to put people at ease and communicate with the youth as well as other visitors that are needing some help. Good computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office applications needed and the ability to be able to fit into a team of volunteers and paid staff. You will need a Full licence or a Restricted licence may be considered if you can obtain your full licence within 3 months. Please send CV and Job id to Janice.Norgrove001@msd.govt.nz
Job Requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills, restricted or full licence and own reliable vehicle. Good administration skills and ability to converse with youth and all other ages and ability to honour Te Tiriti o Te Waitangi/The Treaty of Waitangi.
