Traffic controllers

South Auckland based employer is seeking experienced and motivated Traffic Controllers to manage traffic flow at our worksites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and take down traffic management signs and cones according to approved plans - Direct traffic to ensure the safe movement of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists around the site - Communicate with the site team and other traffic controllers to ensure smooth operation - Monitor traffic and respond to changes or incidents as they arise - Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor promptly - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times - Maintain traffic control equipment and ensure it is in good working order - Assist with site safety audits and regular checks on traffic management measures - Provide clear and concise instructions to motorists, pedestrians, and workers as required

- Class 1 Driver’s License (minimum) - Valid TTMW License (Traffic Management Worker certification) - Proven experience as a Traffic Controller - Good understanding of traffic management plans and procedures - Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments - Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team - High level of attention to detail and safety awareness - Must pass MOJ and Drug tests.
