Experienced Roofer

This skilled roofer role is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading roofing companies in Canterbury. As an experienced roofer you will assist the team with all the construction duties to ensure the product is of the high standard this business is known for. Duties and Responsibilities

• Installing commercial roofing, flashings, and rainwater systems according to the NZ Building standards • Assist in managing that all the installs are delivered on time. • Keep all workplaces and sites clean and tidy. • Liaise with co-workers, customers, and other trade workers in a polite manner. • Standing seam experience advantageous • Be responsible for your own working tools and gear. • Read and follow instructions and solve math equations. • This is a standing position, so be able to work to a timely manner at a standing station.

The successful candidate will have.

• Minimum 2 years' experience working at heights and in commercial roofing, flashings, and rainwater systems. • Your own roofing tools - Belt and hand tools with Drills (Minimum Required) • Basic knowledge and understanding of English and maths and be able to follow instructions. • Be physically fit and able to complete all tasks required. • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and random ones throughout your employment. • Have a current site safe and safety at heights training certificates.
