Agricultural Machinery Operator

Seeking Machinery Operators to join a friendly team in Seddon. You will have some experience in this role already.
The role will consist of: • Canopy spraying • Ground spraying • Spreading compost and other material • Ground cultivation and sowing cover crops. • Truck maintenance. • General tractor work including use of front-end loader, forklift, trimmer, plucker, mulcher and towing. • Repairs and maintenance. • Tractor record keeping. • Organisation and cleanliness of the tool area of the Woolshed.
You will work on a rotating roster including weekends. Please note you will need your own reliable transport and a minimum of a restricted drivers license.
Pay range: $25 - $30 per hour.
Job Requirements
To be successful, you will have:
• 1 - 2 years experience in vineyard machine operation • Keen to work in a friendly and varied work environment • Have a “can do” attitude • Have a full drivers license and own reliable transport • Be physically and healthy and prepared to work early mornings and some weekends. • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and police/MOJ checks • Current Growsafe certificate is an advantage, Current First Aid certificate is also an advantage
