Harvest Supervisor

The Harvest Supervisor will lead a team responsible for planting, picking, pruning, and general orchard tasks. This role ensures that all operations meet quality and safety standards, while maintaining productivity and efficient use of resources.
Key Responsibilities: • Team Management: -Supervise and support workers in planting, picking, pruning, and grow-bag installation. -Provide training and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Quality Control: -Monitor and maintain high standards in crop handling, plant grading, and packing processes. -Ensure correct techniques are followed for planting, pruning, and equipment use.
• Planning & Reporting: -Assign tasks, manage schedules, and ensure timely completion of all orchard activities. - Report productivity and any issues to management.

Job Requirements
Requirements: • Experience in horticulture or farm management. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Knowledge of orchard operations, including planting, picking, and irrigation systems. • At least 1 year experience of orchard hand experience is preferred. Own transport required. Job is located 8mins from the Tuakau Bridge, heading to Port Waikato.
