About this job
Warehouse Delivery Driver required to deliver ship stores to ships coming to New Zealand Ports. You will need to collect payments from vessels when required and agreed by Employer. Assembling ship stores and labelling them accordingly. General Warehouse maintenance duties and keeping the warehouse clean and tidy. Picking goods from suppliers, receiving orders from ships and understand the trend of each customer. Upsell products and resolve any complaints from customers. Delivery of stores to other NZ Ports(North and South Island) whenever required, which may include an overnight stay. Able to identify ship stores deck/engine and provisions. Should be able to identify different cuts of meat, vegetables, fruits and international foods. Able to communicate with ships captain, cook and other officers and get invoices and permits signed. Knowledge of ship stores loading/unloading is a bonus. Need to work in Freezer & chillers to prepare orders for ships.
Job Requirements
Must have a full Drivers License Class 2 license Forklift license Dangerous goods license Must pass a drug and security check Must be able to meet the provisions of the role as listed
