Laundry and Cleaning Assistant

An aged care facility in Cambridge is looking for a part time but it can also be a casual role as a Laundry and Cleaning Assistant for immediate start. Duties and responsibilities • Ensure proper and efficient laundering, sorting, folding, organising and delivery of linen and residents personal clothing. • Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry equipment and the laundry room. • Ensure adequate stock and equipment levels for the laundry and cleaning room. • Do minor repairs to residents clothing. • Maintain cleanliness of the facility (including rooms, hallways, bathrooms, toilets, lounges, dining hall, kitchen, etc.) to a high standard. • Observe hygiene principles and health and safety protocols in the use of cleaning implements and chemicals

Job Requirements
• Professional cleaning and laundry experience is a plus, otherwise candidate must be highly trainable • With high standards of cleanliness and orderliness • Excellent physical fitness • Must pass drug test, a police check and MOJ check • Have right to work in NZ • Able to work 2-3 days per week days and including weekends
