Duties and responsibilities • To maintain the grounds and gardens at our rest home • Install plants, monitor and maintain health of plants • Mow, trim and fertilize green spaces • Mulch, edge and weed gardens • Prune and trim bushes and shrubs • Ensure gardens and green spaces are tidy and clear of debris and litter • Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery, like mowers, trimmers and leaf blowers
Job Requirements
• Experience as a gardener. • Good knowledge of plants, pests, and fertilizers • Good knowledge of health and safety in gardening and landscaping • Excellent physical fitness, including ability to lift heavy objects. • Must be able to pass a MOJ. • Must be able to pass a drug test. • Must be able to pass a child sex offender risk test.
