Cleaning Team Leader
About this job
Cleaner duties include vacuuming and cleaning carpets, curtains, and upholstered furniture; dusting and washing furniture, fixtures, and windows; removing rubbish and recyclables; cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and laundry fixtures; operating industrial vacuums; and applying solvents to remove stains. You'll maintain cleaning equipment and follow safety protocols. As a Team Leader, you will conduct monthly site checks, manage time to ensure tasks are completed on schedule, and coordinate with team members. You will also schedule jobs, conduct new site inductions, handle key fobs, and be available for emergencies.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months' of experience in cleaning (domestic or commercial) - Customer service and business skills will be an advantage as the team grows - Ability and willingness to clean to a high standard - Knowledge of and adherence to health, safety, and security measures at work - Physical fitness and the ability to handle cleaning equipment - Positive, can-do attitude and reliability - Flexibility and availability for shift rotations and emergencies - Possess a full driver licence or be readily able to obtain one
- Days of work
- Shift rotations, including weekends and weekdays, from Monday to Saturday. Small shifts Between 8am-10pm. (35 hours per week)
