Kitchen Hand/FOH Allrounder - Whangarei

A local Indian restaurant in Whangarei is looking for a part time Kitchen Hand Allrounder to join their team immediately. This position includes evening and weekend work and must be available to be rostered across all shifts. This is a dine-in restaurant, with a delivery service. You must be an efficient multitasker and willing to assist in all areas of the restaurant. Home deliveries is also an option if you have a suitable vehicle in which you will need a minimum of restricted licence. Delivery rate is paid on top of hourly rate. Duties include but are not limited to; Food preparation, customer service and waiting tables, delivering food orders, cleaning and other tasks as required. To be considered for this position, you will have had prior customer service experience of 1 -2 years, be able to work in a team environment, be passionate about food, be able to multitask, prioritise your workload, use your initiative, and keep calm under pressure. It would be advantageous if you have worked in cafe or restaurant previously.

Must have your own reliable vehicle for deliveries and Restricted Class 1 Driver Licence. Must be well presented and have good communication skills. Must be drug free, all convictions must be disclosed, employer is willing to consider on a case by case basis.
