Community Services Admin Assistant

A health care provider based in Rawene is seeking a Community Services Administration Assistant to join their team and provide administrative support to the Community Services Manager.
Responsibilities include: • Communicating positively with clients, whanau, and the public. • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records while keeping patient and sensitive information confidential • Organizing and systematically completing orders, reports, and filing. • Preparing agenda documents and taking minutes for meetings. • Scheduling diary appointments and coordinating team meetings, including agendas and work plans. • Participating in ongoing training and assessments • Staying updated on role developments and assisting with onboarding new team members. • Helping with organizing projects, programs, and events. • Providing backup support for other administrators if needed • Understanding and complying with health and safety regulations

Job Requirements
• Experience in diary management and minimum 2 years’ admin experience within the healthcare industry. • A qualification in business and/or admin would be a plus. • Knowledge of Tikanga and Te Reo Maori is desirable • Ability to act with sensitivity regarding rights to privacy and confidentiality • Attention to detail including accurate data entry and numeracy skills • Hold a full Class 1 driver licence with a reliable transport • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proactive, enthusiastic and energetic approach to work demonstrating initiative • Highly organised with the ability to anticipate needs
