We are seeking experienced Cooks with a strong background in Indian cuisine, specifically in preparing curries, tandoori dishes, and Indian sweets.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in these areas and be able to perform the following duties:
Prepare a variety of Indian curries, tandoori meals, sweets, and entrees. Plate meals in accordance with any dietary requirements. Ensure the highest quality of food before it leaves the kitchen. Assist with menu planning, maintaining standards, and ensuring food safety. Monitor and control food wastage and costs, including conducting regular stock checks and inventory. Train and supervise kitchen staff as required. Order supplies and verify stock upon arrival. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including regular cleaning of surfaces, fridges, and freezers. Assist with washing dishes as needed. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays is required
