A professional plastering company in Christchurch is seeking a Gib Fixer who have at least a year experience to enter their team. In this role you will be: - Installation of plasterboard (Gib) to walls and ceilings for both residential and commercial properties. - Accurately measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific spaces. - Securely fix plasterboard using screws, nails, or adhesives. - Ensure surfaces are prepped for plastering or painting by finishing joints and sealing gaps. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines are met. - Adhere to all safety standards and company & Site policies. You will also require your own transport as you will be working around Christchurch construction sites, at this stage projects mainly in CBD.

An ability to work well unsupervised, able to complete Gib Fixing work with limited direction, and able to liaise with site foremen & Interior Plasterer is required for this role.

Job Requirements

• Own transport and a minimum of a Restricted license. • Current Site Safe. • Proven experience as a Gib Fixer in the construction industry at least for a year • Physical fitness and ability to work in various conditions. • A bonus if the candidates will have their Gib fixing own tools. • Criminal Convictions on a case by case basis. • Require at least 2 references on the CV or upon requested

Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm ( 32 - 40 hours) (32 hours per week)
