Regent Training Centre are recruiting for x3 full-time positions available for Foundation Skills Tutors in Whangarei with immediate start. You will be teaching Foundation Skills to youth from the ages of 13 to 19, which include literacy, numeracy, life skills, health and wellbeing, health and safety, time management, personal presentation.

Job Requirements
1. Must have at least 2 year's experience teaching literacy and numeracy in any context previously; ( must be at a school or at a training provider) 2. Must have NCLANE National Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent) or suitable teaching qualifications (or willing to undertake study to attain these qualifications( employer will support); 3. Must have Class 1 Full driver license with no restrictions as you will be required to drive a company vehicle to take students for field trips and must be confident driving both automatic and manual transmitted vehicles; 4. Must be drug free; 5. Must have no convictions as Police Vetting will be conducted; 6. The ability to quickly create positive and respectful relationships with learners; 7. Be able to relate and work with challenging and vulnerable young people without judgement; 8. An ability to support and motivate young people to learn, gain recognised qualifications and set goals for further development; 9. The ability to plan, organise, deliver and assess set programme content Excellent interpersonal skills; 10. Must have most up-to-date CV and at least 2 work-related references.

- Monday to Friday - 8am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week)

- $57,000 to $62,000 depending on experience
