We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to create exceptional moments for our guests, providing outstanding service. Our Restaurant Manager leads the operations of our restaurant within our 5-star hotel. It is important you possess a deep passion for fine dining, exceptional service standards, and have the ability to manage and inspire a team to deliver a world-class dining experience. This role requires a strong leader with a commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing a high-end dining establishment.
• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless service delivery and the highest standards of hospitality are upheld, providing all guests with an exceptional experience. • Actively monitor and manage guest satisfaction, guest feedback for the restaurant • Effective team management: recruit, train and develop a Front of House Team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment • Management of weekly rosters and timesheets for the Front of House Team, ensuring adequate staffing levels in line with sales and our budget • Be ‘hands on’, assisting the team whilst also maintaining a visible presence and actively engaging with guests • Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain the quality and consistency of our food and beverage offering • Effective stock and equipment management • Regularly analyse and report on the financial performance of the restaurant, including sales, expenses and profitability • Take a lead in developing and executing marketing and promotional initiatives • Uphold and enforce high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in all areas of the rest
Job Requirements
• Have a proven track record of managing a team, motivating others and delivering outstanding guest experiences. • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays. • Tertiary education in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management within a 5-star hotel restaurant or similar. • Must hold a valid LCQ and Manager’s Certificate • Must hold a First Aid Certificate
• Be a highly organised individual, with excellent time management and communication • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, with the capacity to adapt and problem-solve when challenges arise. • Must be able to pass MOJ

- Mixture of morning and evening shifts, weekends and the occasional public holiday as the business requires. (40 hours per week)
