Meat Processing Workers

Are you looking for work in the meat industry? A South Otago employer is looking for all types of workers to join their team for this season; from Meat Packers and Labourers to Butchers and Meat Boners. If you are from Dunedin and do not have transport - THERE IS A FREE BUS available to take you to site! Throughout the season will require both night and day shift workers for the beef and lamb departments. Duties for the labouring positions will include (but not be limited to); trimming, packing, broom hand work, and general cleaning. Duties for the more skilled knife work will include; clean, trim, and cut carcasses in preparation for further processing, as well as cutting meat to standard cuts for the meat industry and customer specifications. Job Requirements
To be successful, candidates must be able to pass pre-employment checks including medical testing and a saliva drug test. Must have suitable transport to get to the pick up points for the bus. Please note most roles are very physical and may require standing all day.
