Casual Relief Cover, Early Childhood

OTAGO/DUNEDIN: Looking for a career in Childcare career we have the perfect opportunity to dip your toes into the industry.

We are looking for Casual Relief Cover for our Early childhood Centre to become part of our great team.

This could be for a few hours a day, or a couple of weeks depending on when required, covering illness and/or annual leave.

Duties include but are not limited to: • Working in a team environment with our treasured children. • Working alongside teachers to help give meaningful learning experiences to our Tamariki. • Age ranges from 4 months to 6 years

This role is On-Call – When required.

Days and hours: • This role is On-Call – When required. • Normal days of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm • Required to work 3 to 4 or could be 8 hours depending on shifts to cover.

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour.

No experience is required but must like looking after children also full training will be given on site. But all applicants must meet the below prerequisites to be considered for this role, please note if you don’t meet any of these you won’t be considered for this role.

You must have the below prerequisites to be considered for this role: • You must be able to pass a police check and pre-employment drug test, as part of the employment process. • Must like looking after Children. • Have good communication skills. • Be reliable and flexible. • You must be willing to work and turn up when required. • Hold New Zealand citizenship or have New Zealand Permanent Residency. • Positive attitude, Excellent communication skills, honest.
