Meat Processing Worker

An employer based on the outskirts of Invercargill has seasonal vacancies for Boners, Slaughterers, Labourers and Knife Hands, packers etc available for the 2024 / 25 season. Te Turanga -The role: Labourers roles can vary from being in the yards, to working on the chain and processing animals to packaging and labelling to box up our product and send to our customers. Full-time Seasonal - Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday worked during peak production times. Specific start and finish times are staggered by department or section, with dayshift hours generally between 7am and 4.30pm and nightshift hours generally between 5.00pm and 2.00am If you've got experience doing mahi - awesome, give us a shout. If you'll be coming in fresh and you're just keen to learn and earn - that's also great, we will provide all the training you need to get up to speed! Nga painga - what's in it for you? • Earn a guaranteed minimum of $28.25 per hour plus generous allowances • Earn up to a maximum hourly rate of $35.09 per hour exclusive of overtime. • Minimum of 30 hours a week, can work up to 45 hours a week • Up to 11 months of full-time seasonal employment - don't like staying in one place for too long?
