Assist to Verify trueness of structure, using plumb bob, PLS and level. Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge. Assist to assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue. Assist to erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level. Assist to finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses and buildings, using paint, hand tools, and paneling. Assist to inspect ceiling or floor tile, cladding or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures. Pick up and delivering material to site. Maintain company equipment and tools. general assistance to the carpenter including assisting with all types of carpentry work in building wooden or part wooden items which form part of buildings (such as windows and stairs) both internal and external, and additional associated wooden items, such as furniture

Must be able to pass a security and drug check. have reliable transport to get to and from work as early starts are required . Must have some experience in the construction industry.
