Horticultural business based in Patumahoe are looking for 10 experienced mobile plant operators. Your key tasks, responsibilities and requirements below.
• Operating machinery and farm implements • Operating specialised vegetable cultivation machinery with a minimum of 12 months experience • Driving vehicles such as tractors, specialised vegetable harvestors, forklifts, trucks, utes, vans etc • Operating specialised mobile plant machinery for pumpkin, squash, carrot, onion and watermelon with a minimum of 12 months experience • Mobile plant machinery maintenance and repair • Operating specialised mobile plant machinery for establishment of crops with minimum of 12 months experience • Must be able to operate and use specialised vegetable spraying equipment with minimum of 12 months experience • Health and Safety conscious

Job Requirements
• Must be able to work long shifts when required • Hold a current forklift driver’s license • Have a NZ Class 1 driver license, with own reliable transport • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and police check • Work well within a team and also autonomously • A strong work ethic • Mechanically minded • Drive manual vehicles • License class 5 would be a definite advantage!
