Are you a skilled diesel mechanic looking for your next challenge? A local Automotive shop in Mangere is seeking full time Diesel Mechanic to join their busy workshop.

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including major components such as turbos, injectors, and fuel pumps. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Replace worn or damaged parts and conduct necessary adjustments. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work is performed to high standards. Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues and improve service quality. Hours are Mon – Fri 8am-5pm

Job Requirements

A minimum 5 years experience working on large vehicles and are a qualified heavy diesel mechanic. Knowledge in all automotive aspects is required. Able to check and diagnose faults and recommend repairs and fixes. Trade qualification as Diesel Mechanic preferred. Experience in servicing and repairing different makes and models Honest and reliable work ethic. Excellent attention to detail. Clean & Current Full NZ drivers licence. Class 2 license would be an advantage. Able to pass MOJ check and drug test. Physically fit to carry heavy parts and tools. Capable of working in confined spaces and performing physically demanding tasks.
