Automotive Technician

Mangere based automotive service provider dedicated to delivering outstanding repair and maintenance services for passenger vehicles are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join their team and handle a variety of repair and maintenance tasks for passenger vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics and repairs, a keen eye for detail, and a dedication to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics and repairs on passenger vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-ups. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues. Provide clear and accurate explanations of repair needs and recommendations to customers. Maintain detailed records of repairs, services, and parts used. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Experience required minimum 4 -5 years. Knowledge in all automotive aspects is required. Able to check and diagnose faults and recommend repairs and fixes. Trade qualification in automotive preferred. WOF Certificate preferred. Experience in servicing and repairing different makes and models Honest and reliable work ethic. Excellent attention to detail. Clean & Current Full NZ drivers licence. Able to pass MOJ check and drug test. Physically fit to carry heavy parts and tools. Comfort working in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces.
