Full-Time Liquor Retail Associate

seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Liquor Retail Associate to join our team in Whitianga. This role involves a significant amount of heavy lifting and physical activity, so a good level of physical fitness is required. If you have a passion for customer service and experience in retail or bar work, we’d love to have you on board. We are also prepared to train the right candidate for a Duty Manager Licence. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their product choices and addressing their inquiries. • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment. • Manage inventory, restock shelves, and handle heavy lifting of stock. • Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently. • Adhere to all legal and safety regulations related to the sale of liquor. • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and enhance the customer shopping experience. Requirements: • Previous experience in retail or bar work is essential. • Availability to work weekends and nights is required. • LCQ (Liquor Control Qualification) and Manager’s Certificate are highly desirable; we will provide training for the right candidate. • Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting. • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
