OTAGO (MOSGIEL): We are on the lookout for a special someone to join our team in Outram, Mosgiel for the upcoming Wedding Season.

You will be our go to person and fill a key role within a small and tight-knit team. We are a family-owned business, who are preparing for the wedding season to start in October and run through to the end of March.

Our team are attentive and dedicated to providing exceptional service and committed to creating a memorable day for our guests.

Your duties will cover: • Attending the bar and cleaning throughout the event. • This includes the set-up and pack-down of the event.

You may be called upon for a weekend in the month or a couple of weekends or an odd weekday. So this role is casual (On-Call) and no set days. The key is being flexible with your availability.

This role will suit someone who enjoys: • Serving customers. • Friendly and professional. • Accommodating and non-judgmental. • Will take initiative and muck in where needed. • Has an eye for detail. • Well-presented and takes pride in their hygiene and presentation.

Any bar experience will be a bonus but not essential. Training is provided for the successful candidate commencing in September and followed by orientation.

You will embrace all learning as part of the role and be a team player.

Job Requirements

You must have the below prerequisites to be considered for this role:

• Full Class 1 Drivers License and Reliable transport • Employer is willing to consider someone with some minor criminal convictions (no theft or dishonesty related convictions). This is on a case-by-case basis. • Current CV • In addition to your application, please answer “Why you would be a great candidate for this role?” • Reliable and show the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. • Hold NZ citizenship, NZ Permanent Residency.
