About this job
A local Taumarunui company is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and savvy Production Team Members. Tasks include operating food processing machinery, quality checking the product, packaging and labelling, moving stock that is ready for dispatch and daily assistance with cleaning work areas. Candidates will need a good understanding of food handling and hygiene practices. Ability to pass a drug and police check. Successful applicants may gain opportunities for a permanent role. Job Requirements
Have a good understanding of Food Safety. Have a high standard of cleanliness and have a tidy appearance. Be friendly and have a good understanding of food handling and hygiene practices. Some production experience would be nice to have but not essential.
Must also have the legal right to work in New Zealand, a good level of fitness for work in an industrial food processing environment (including manual handling, ability to lift to 25kg) and reliable transport or suitable transport arrangement / ability to get yourself to work.
