Youth Coach
About this job
The Youth Worker role is to provide developmental services, programmes and activities that fit the values and aims of Te Ha o Matauranga, to youth aged 12-24. These will be offered both within Kaikoura High School and within the general community. This role will work with our Youth Development team to provide a coordinated positive youth development approach.
Job Requirements
Pass safety checking requirements of the Children’s Act 2014 Holds current full drivers licence Knowledge of and understanding of tikanga Maori and te Tiriti o Waitangi Previous experience in Youth Work is desirable Ability to take responsibility for own performance and time management Must have current valid right to work for paid employment in New Zealand
