Key Job / Role Responsibilities :

Production / Operational Administration: - Maintain production reports, tracking progress and efficiency, and provide support maintaining the KPI system across the organization. - Coordinate communication between productions teams (milling, meat processing, extrusion, co-extrusion, and packing) and all other departments to ensure smooth operation on a daily basis. - Record keeping of operational documents and compliance. - Support the scheduling and coordination of production timeline to ensure timely delivery of products. - Maintain Operational calendar. Ensure up to date calendar available to all departments. - Maintain records of maintenance and repair equipment to minimise downtime. Flag and elevate any trending issues. - Support daily consumption across all areas within operations team ensuring visibility of waste, plant efficiency, attainment and time loss. - Liaise with the Sales / Marketing team to ensure Production is updated on current orders and/or customer requirements. - Keep the team updated on relevant compliance / legislation / industry standards. - Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the wider team from time to time. Production Training & Development Coordination: - In liaison with the Site Operations Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, HR Business Partner, provide support by maintaining training and development plans for all production employees / operations. - Assist with the development of specific Production Plant Induction/s. Ensure this is implemented and maintained in coordination with the Health & Safety Coordinator. - Coordinate and deliver plant induction / training sessions and keep records for compliance. Share with HR, HSE and Compliance. - Liaise with other departments to organise required training sessions or development opportunities for production employees (e.g. education for new use of equipment, processes, policies and procedures).

Possessing the ability to communicate with personnel from a wide array of backgrounds, education and skillsets will be highly valued.

Key Skills and Experience: - Strong administrative skills - Arability to streamline processes and systems. - Excellent communication skills. - Strong computer literacy, competent in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word). - Experience with ERP system would be an advantage - Time management juggling multiple tasks and deadlines - Resilience to change / pivot in a fast-paced environment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong numerical and written skills. - Dedication to providing outstanding Customer Service. - An enthusiastic can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile. Desirable Knowledge / skills (but not essential): - Pet Sector or Meat Industry experience. - Experience in a Food Manufacturing role. - Export Food Safety and/or Compliance experience. - Food safety and hygiene understanding and/or relevant industry qualifications. - Workplace Health and Safety awareness.
