Youth Worker / Driver

A Youth centred, Maori, Christian based organisation based in Wellington, is looking for a youth worker / driver to join their team.
As a Youth Worker you will be responsible for: • Driving Rangatahi (Pick-ups and Drop Offs). • Help to plan and facilitating youth programs. • Attend weekly hui Help with community initiatives. • Kai pick up for hangi (bi-weekly hangi).

Job Requirements
• Have Youth work experience. • Be comfortable with learning about Christ. • Be supportive of Maori Kaupapa and initiatives. • Have full driver’s license and P endorsement. • Required to complete police vetting form, so must have a clean record. • Able to lift heavy objects, physically fit (to join in sports with Rangatahi) • Have a passion to work with youth/the community. • Be punctual, good communication skills and reliable. • Having Te Reo is preferred.
