Fisheries Deckhand
About this job
Normal fisheries deckhand duties are required for a medium sized long line vessel. These include deploying and retrieving the fishing long lines, handling, sorting, storing, and unloading the catch. Cleaning of the deck, cabins, and common area. Maintenance and repair of fishing lines and hooks. You need to strong as there is some heavy lifting involved.

Job Requirements
• Applicants must have experience of at least six months as a fisheries long line deckhand crew member. • Must be physically fit and able. • Applicants must be able to pass both our random drug testing programme and pass a criminal police clearance process. • Must have valid references from previous fishing companies or boat owners.
- Days of work
- Monday to Sunday – 6 days a week. To be discussed further with the employer. (42 hours per week)
