Health Care Assistant

A Resthome in Stanmore Bay are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Healthcare assistant to join their team for the night shifts.

The successful applicant will work full-time in the healthcare space, and may complete housekeeping work or kitchenhand work from time-to-time.

Key responsibilities of the position will include: Providing quality-based support and care for residents. Assisting the nursing team and carrying out health care duties that maintain and promote high standards of health and support. Assisting with personal care, showering, cleaning, household duties, and caregiving duties. The applicant will be capable of providing high standards of care and service to the residents, while supporting Registered Nurses to monitor the provision of care to residents; while striving for a continuous improvement of a high-quality based environment. No qualifications necessary, but applicants must be willing to learn, upskill and play a key part in a fast-paced environment. Please note, applicants must also live within reasonable commuting distance from the Hibiscus Coast. Applicants who live outside of the North Shore area will not be considered. Interested? Must have clear documentation and recording skills. Must live within reasonable commuting distance from the Hibiscus Coast. (Hibiscus Coast/Rodney or upper North Shore) Applicants must have a strong back, a can-do attitude, and not have any outstanding injuries that will impede their duties or ability to carry out their role at the time of application or at the commencement of the role.
