Dairy Farm Assistant

Employer is looking for 2 dairy cattle farmers based 30 minutes out of Morrinsville. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking twice a day, shifting cows and feeding, fencing, weed control, calving, calf rearing, shed cleaning and setup, identifying and alerting managers to sick cows, setting fences and other general farm duties. A shared 3-bedroom house is included. This is valued at $6,500 per annum and will be deducted as rent from wages. generally work hours are between 5am and go through 5pm with meal and rest breaks; Roster will be 11 days on, 3 days off rest of the year.
