Employer based in Thames is looking for 2 cooks to assist with preparing ingredients for menu items -Preparing and cooking high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes - Storing food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage -Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards -Assisting in planning menus and food requirements -Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes -Ensure that recipes and proportions are adhered to, to ensure consistency and quality -Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality -Catering for the needs of special dietary requirements -Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation -If requested order and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations -Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas - Ensuring that food health and safety regulations are followed -Thorough understanding of Turkish cuisine is a must Rostered shifts and you maybe required to work in the weekend, public holiday and evening shifts

Must have experience with Turkish cuisine but employer will train if candidate is interested. Will need own vehicle and license to get to work but wont need for work. Employer looking for at least 1 years experience.
