Onewhero based employer looking for strawberry Pickers / General Orchard Hands
• Must adhere to the picking technique required for all varieties • Understand the grading required as well as the packing/weighing requirements • Must understand and adhere to the correct trolley preparation/handling as well as the cleaning Grow bag installation • Must carry out specific requirements for loading, laying out of growbags, removal & installation of drippers Planting • Adhere to the specific requirements with plant grading and the planting technique Raspberry Cane Training / Pruning • Understand the requirements for clipping canes • Understand the requirements for cutting back and pruning raspberries General Orchard work • Assist with all other general orchard growing tasks when required • Assist to improve processes and policies across the business.

Job Requirements
You will have your own or reliable transport to get to work as public transport is not an option. Orchard Hand experience is preferred, but not required as training will be provided. You will also pass a pre-employment drug test and police check.
