Managing, leading and training a team of orchard workers from various cultural backgrounds ensuring the quality of work is to the highest standard, and job timings and targets are met by team. Ensuring all staff production targets for contract work are met and managed. Allocating daily work to team members as required. Communicating with your team, other supervisors, growers and the leadership team. Ensuring Company Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed and implemented. Maintaining a positive and inclusive team, resolving issues to achieve a positive outcome. Conducting all aspects of vine maintenance work including thinning, pruning, picking/harvest, stringing etc. Monitoring the growth and health of crops, following all hygiene and PSA protocols. Managing administration tasks and record keeping, including staff timesheets, data entry. • Assisting in the coordination of labour supply, orchard services and plan staffing requirements based on customer demand. Mapping of orchards when required, recording total number of vines, bays and maintenance requirements in each orchard.

Job Requirements

Physically Fit for outdoor work Level 4 Horticulture Certificate preferred not essential Minor convictions and clean slate considered

Days of work
Monday – Sunday 7am – 7pm - weather permitting (30 hours per week)
