Aged and Disability Support Worker

This employer is looking for a community support worker to join their team and help support people to lead fulfilling lives in the community. Full time, Part time and casual shift available. We welcome applicants who have a passion for seeing others progress in life and live independently. You days may vary but will consist of: • Engaging with Clients • Setting and achieving individual personal goals • Encouraging client participation in day-to-day life • Supporting them with activities of daily living • Ensuring support with medication and considering client needs • Supporting clients with personal hygiene • Activities within the community • Supporting social and whanau connection • Motivating clients to know they have purpose. • Ensuring client processes are accurately documented. • Most importantly supporting them to have fun and live fulfilling lives. To be considered for this role, Candidates must: • Have excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude. • Be able to inspire, encourage and be a role model to clients. • Full Driver’s Licence as you will be expected to drive clients when needed. • Computer skills are essential. • No qualifications needed however there will be an expectation that you will be willing to work towards a Level 4 in Health & Disability
