Bakery Manager

Creating and overseeing the production list to create a full range of high quality bakery products are baked daily Oversee the training of all team members and including the signing off of bakery apprentice workbooks Ordering and maintaining all essential bakery needs for creation and display of goods Implementing and ensuring food safety and health & safety standards are met Delivering exceptional customer service Ensuring all products are merchandised to a high standard Ensuring all bakery equipment is operated and maintained correctly and team members are trained to operate safely Leading positive and supportive working relationships with and within the whole bakery team and the wider New World Kaikoura team.

2 years’ experience as a baker plus equivalent to NZ Certificate in Baking Excellent communication skills to lead the team Must be able to show initiative Must be honest and reliable Must be physically fit as they will be on their feet all day Have a good sense of humour! Must have a positive approach to their day and have a can-do attitude Have a passion for giving excellent customer service and going the extra mile for our customers Must enjoy early starts Must have great presentation skills and attention to detail
