Community Support Worker - Youth

Are you an enthusiastic and energetic person who is keen to work alongside our rangatahi who experience challenges with their mental health. We are looking for someone who will inspire, encourage, be a role model and have excellent interpersonal skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. This role will have a strong focus on client goals and outcomes and you will assist the young people in the service in achieving maximum independence. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting youth with a history of challenging behaviours, and providing a meaningful, supportive and educational environment for rangatahi. Further assisting in gaining social, health, education, whanau and cultural reconnection.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, Candidates must: • Have excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude. • Be able to inspire, encourage and be a role model to clients. • Full Driver’s Licence as you will be expected to drive clients when needed. • Computer skills are essential. • No qualifications needed however there will be an expectation that you will be willing to work towards a Level 4 in Health & Disability
