CNC Production Manufacturing Manager /Foreman

Responsibilities for: • Production Planning and scheduling utilizing the master production schedule as well as reporting on the output. • Design jigs and fixtures where required and improve on existing jigs and fixtures. • Streamline the manufacturing process utilizing software to enable offline programming. • Ensure that correct tooling is available for ease and accurate manufacturing of parts. • Instil a drive for bettering the manufacturing efficiencies. • Focus on continuous improvement, utilization, efficiencies, machine availability, reduction in set up and cycle times through procedures, tooling and planning. • Through the latest tooling technology ensure that the correct manufacturing methods are utilized. • Delivering products on time and to specification. • Be the custodian of Health & Safety. • Weekly and monthly reporting to the General Manager. • Weekly feedback meeting with staff. Minimum qualifications NCEA,Certificates / Apprenticeships,Licence,Professional Qualification Additional job prerequisites? Key Skills and Abilities: • Trade Qualified • Minimum 10 years' experience in a supervisory role. • Extensive Experience with CNC Programming. • Vast experience in setting including operating, fault finding and maintenance. • Vast Knowledge of raw materials and their machining characteristics • 3 years plus experience on Mazatrol • Exposure use on Integrex • Read and interpret detailed machine /engineering drawings • High degree of knowledge of tooling, speed and feed rates • In dept knowledge of TOC & Lean manufacturing. • Knowledge of costing Equipment used and /or technology skills: • Stay abreast of the latest tooling technology • CAD package – Solidworks • Exposure to CAM • Proficient MS Office and ERP system. • Good knowledge of conventional- and CNC machines both turning and milling. • Good exposure to 5S housekeeping
