Class 4 Truck Driver Operator

Drive and operate Hydro Excavation trucks, Water Cart trucks and equipment ensuring all work is performed to a high standard and in a safe and professional manner. Responsible for putting the safety and health of yourself, and all other persons you work with, as a priority in any situation. Carry out the daily vehicles checks (oil, water, fuel, air pressure, safety conditions and equipment security, Road User Charge Licence, COF Registration, cleanliness etc.) and keeping the employer informed of the maintenance requirements. Keep the truck and equipment clean and in good working order. Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when dealing with customers or the general public. Complete assigned tasks to a high standard, in a practical time frame and in a cost-effective manner. Current NZ Class 4 License Mechanical knowledge of heavy vehicle operation and equipment. Experience in civil, construction, plumbing, hydro excavation, vacuum loading, wastewater, storm water and/or drainage is advantageous but not necessary. Experience in operating heavy trucks and/or machinery.
