Come join our team as a Class 2 Driver for one of New Zealand's largest medical waste and quarantine treatment company. We work with a number of businesses providing a wide range of waste treatment, recycling and industrial services to help protect New-Zealand’s environment and people. Key responsibilities will include:
• Operating vehicles and equipment to service our clients (deliveries and pick ups) • Delivering high quality customer service • Performing loading and unloading duties including wheelie bins • Operating computerised systems and completing paperwork • Performing daily vehicle/safety checks • Back up plant operator duties including operating plant machinery (training will be given)
To be successful in this role you will need:
• Class 2 (NZ) Licence (required) • DG endorsement (beneficial) • Previous experience driving commercial vehicles • Excellent customer service • Be able to do some lifting to load and unload bins from vehicles • Must be able to do rostered shifts with early start and occasional weekend work when needed • An understanding of safe work practices and H&S in the workplace. • Reliable, punctual and possess a can-do attitude. • Aptitude to operate computerised systems • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

Job Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to participate in pre-employment checks as part of the recruitment process. These pre-employment checks include: Immigration check, Medical, ACC, driver licence, Ministry of Justice and a drug test.

Must have an up to date CV. Must have a Class 2 (NZ) Licence (required). Must have reliable transport. Also have a DG endorsement (beneficial). Must be physically fit.
