Plant Operator

Come join our specialised team as a Plant Operator for New Zealand's largest quarantine and medical waste treatment company. We work with a number of businesses providing a wide range of treatment, recycling and industrial services to help protect New Zealand’s environment and people. Your responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading waste from delivery trucks using a forklift • Operating various machineries • General labour work and managing the site efficiently, moving and processing waste accordingly. • Housekeeping and cleaning site areas as well as washing bins. • Perform daily/safety checks. • Receiving and accurately checking off delivered orders. • Monitor and maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety. To be successful in this role:

• Experience working in an operational environment. • Experience using a forklift (essential) • Have a can-do attitude, ability to work in a team environment, be self-motivated and a hard worker. • Ability to meet tight deadlines and is dedicated in achieving operational targets. • Physically fit, reliable & have good communication skills. • An understanding of safe work practices and H&S in the workplace.
