Kiwifruit orchard worker

Keen for outdoor work in the local Te Puke area? We have an opportunity available for you pruning and tying down of both Green and Gold kiwifruit vines on pergola structures in preparation for summer growth and 2025 harvest season according to industry specifications on a casual basis. This work involves working above head and shoulder height and being on your feet for long periods of time. Closed footwear must be worn on orchard at all times as part of the health and safety requirements. Gumboots are suitable. You will need secure accommodation within daily travel assistance and be able to travel to the various orchards. Tools will be provided by the employer.
Job Requirements
A good level of fitness to be able to work above head and shoulder height and be on feet for long periods of time. Own transport to get to the various orchards in the wider central Te Puke area. No criminal convictions but will consider those with driving convictions.
- Days of work
- Monday - Sunday (weather dependent). 6 days per week but flexible. 8am - 5pm approximately (weather permitting). (30 hours per week)
