Dairy Farm Assistant
About this job
Dairy Farm assistant required for a 500 cow farm in Hukerenui. The applicant will need to undertake farm duties confidently. Those duties include, but not restricted to assisting in milking, maintaining milking plant hygiene, calving and, learning to be proactive with animal health, weed spraying, operating and maintaining farm machinery, general farm work and other duties as required. Needs to have good communication skills, health and safety conscious, physically fit . Must be hard working, honest, reliable work attendance and excellent time management. NO SMOKING on farm or in shared accommodation house. Training will be provided for the right applicant. Hours on offer 30-hours per week minimum up to maximum 45-hours per week.
Job Requirements
- No criminal convictions - Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing and ongoing random - Hold Full Class 1 Licence - No Pets allowed - Have previous experience as a Dairy Farm Assitant
