Class 5 Truck Driver
About this job
Class 5 driver for a small business based in Papamoa. You will be doing container delivery work in the Tauranga / wider Bay of Plenty. Containers through Port of Tauranga. Also handling general freight, loading and delivering items in a safe and timely manner. Handling customer enquiries answering questions and escalating any complaints from clients. Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules Preparing reports log books and other documents relating to driving Keeping the vehicles clean and tidy Experience in couriers or a logistic type role is an advantage (though not required) You must be physically fit have a keen eye for detail and a 'Can Do Attitude'. You must be reliable and be able to communicate well with other staff and customers.
Job Requirements
Must have a class 5 license or have the willingness and ability to obtain one.You must be physically fit have a keen eye for detail and a 'Can Do Attitude'. You must be reliable and be able to communicate well with other staff and customers. Applicants should have good references and be a team player. If you don't have a dangerous goods licence and forklift certificate, you must be ready to get them.
