An employer in Central Auckland is seeking a Civil Technician to join their team. Duties include: Working as part of the drilling operations and the concrete reinstatement works, and having the flexibility to move between the departments based on work availability Ensuring the work on site is carried out safely and to a high workmanship Performing the tasks required to achieve the target for the day e.g. concrete breakouts, excavations, reinstatement of general concrete & asphalt, hand shovelling, driving a digger Ensuring all work carried out is without any strikes of said services Compliant handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals Complying with the risk management matrix (JSA) Attending mandatory weekly tool box meetings Work alone if necessary, on single handling tasks (scoping, picking up barriers etc.) Be able to read and understand job pack plans and designs and Completion of any other work as assigned in either the Reinstatement or Underground Civil departments that is within your skill set. Must Pass Drug test and Police Check.
