Truck driver - CHRISTCHURCH
About this job
• Responsible for driving with a Class 4 or Class 5 license. • Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers. • Load and unload scrap metal. • Keep accurate records of deliveries. • Refuel and keep the clean truck and trailer. • Report road accidents to the dispatcher. • Follow all New Zealand traffic laws. Inspect the truck and report any issues in a timely manner. • Follow accident and incident procedures. • Eroad logbook to be completed daily. • Report mechanical problems to the dispatcher. • Keep all professional driver licenses up to date. • Maintain a positive attitude with customers and co-workers
Job Requirements
The Truck Driver may be required to work in several locations including Canterbury, Otago, Southland, Waikato, Wellington must pas MOJ and Drug test
- Days of work
- Monday to Saturday. Day Shift- 6am to 3pm OR Night shift 11am to 8pm (42.5 hours per week)
